You can expect the unexpected. In other words, every person has a unique history, narrative, and immediate need. Your therapeutic experience is your own. A few common denominators in almost all therapy sessions include establishing a therapeutic relationship with your therapist, learning how to identify and feel emotions, and learning how to modify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
Galit works with parents who are struggling with highly sensitive children, children who are experiencing behavioral issues, and with children who have a diagnosis of ADHD, anxiety, and/or depression. She also works with the parents of children, primarily in a separate setting. Galit is passionate about helping adults who are facing a legacy of complex trauma, or who are in codependent relationships with narcissists and seek to break free of narcissistic abuse.
Galit offers a play therapy room and a separate room for individual/family therapy.
Galit has a wealth of trainings and certifications, and this experience informs her skilled approach in the therapy room. Some of these certifications include being certified as a child and adolescent trauma professional, being a Teach Through Love parenting coach, and being a registered play therapist as well as a play therapist supervisor. Galit has also received training through the Ackermen Family Institute.
Adult individual sessions are 50 minutes. Children sessions vary from 30-45 minutes.
Yes! I offer coaching services to families who want to parent and love in a way that allows for positive change and outcomes, using less shame and more love, patience, and curiosity. Working together, I help parents parent in a way that aligns with their goals and values.
